Our CrossFit group classes are the backbone of Islander. Everyday there is a new workout. You'll never get bored or tired of the same routine ever again. There is absolutely no experience needed to join any of our classes. Each class is led by a CF certified coach. You will be set up for the WOD (workout of the day) by your coach and they will be there with you through for the full hour to ensure you are staying safe and getting the most from your gym session. Each 60 minute class consists of a WOD brief, group warm-up, workout of the day (WOD) and cool down. We program workouts that are intended to provide general physical preparedness for life. These types of programs are what the majority of the population require. It includes workouts that comprise bodyweight and weight training exercises, rowing/biking/running, pulling/pressing, varying time domains and more. These factors create unlimited combinations of ways to challenge the body and keep it guessing. With our group class memberships you will also receive access to our workout tracking app called "SugarWOD". In this app you'll be able to see the workout of the day, track your results, prepare for class by using the videos provided and interact with all your fellow gym members! In SugarWOD you will also have access to all our programming tracks with the CrossFit Affiliate Programming (including: Affiliate, Competitive, At-Home and Lifting) should you wish to follow the workouts at home or during open gym hours.
Cancellation window is 8 hours prior to class start time. Late Cancellation: A $15 fee charged for late cancels and no shows. Extenuating circumstances will be considered to avoid charges or loss of sessions (e.g. work related situations, sickness or compassionate reasons). Please message your coach or email firstname.lastname@example.org ASAP to notify of a planned late cancel. Sessions can only be booked 72 hours in advance.
