On-Ramp Program

Get ready for the technical lifts we do in group class.

Service Description

Our on-ramp program will set you up with confidence when joining our group classes. You will get 3 one hour private sessions with a coach to learn all the fundamentals and proper technique of our major barbell lifts. Here is what we cover. Day 1: Shoulder to Overhead Accessory Movements: Rowing and bodyweight movements Day 2: Squats From basic squat mechanics to the overhead squat. Accessory Movements: Odd-object implements Day 3: Pulling Movements Accessory movements: Gymnastics intro Our on-ramp program is not a requirement of starting group classes but is definitely recommended for the most success! You can complete your on-ramp training before your first class or concurrently. This membership gives you access to group classes for two weeks.


Cancellation Policy

Cancellation window is 8 hours prior to class start time. Late Cancellation: A $15 fee charged for late cancels and no shows. Extenuating circumstances will be considered to avoid charges or loss of sessions (e.g. work related situations, sickness or compassionate reasons). Please message your coach or email info@islanderathletics.ca ASAP to notify of a planned late cancel. Sessions can only be booked 72 hours in advance.
